Mr. Tim Draper gave the keynote at the WTIA conference held in Seattle. In recognition of entrepreneurs, he danced and sang (rapped) his keynote. Mr Draper called for and advocated more courageous entrepreneurs and less protectionism and rulings He is very popular for his investments that comprise Hotmail, Baidu, Skype and Overture. He is also recognized for initiating the concept of viral marketing through web email for the purpose of advancing Yahoo Mail and Hotmail.

“This is the best time ever to start business — people need jobs, existing companies are reeling, fewer startup competitors there are new technologies.”

He also said “This is an opportunity, it’s an opportunity to change the way you do things, change the way your customers do things, change your teams — these are great opportunities for you as entrepreneurs”
