Title: Senior Director, Prosumer Marketing #0900000030 Location: San Rafael, CA The Opportunity Autodesk\\\'s commitment to providing industry solutions to our expansive and growing customer base has resulted in this new career opportunity focused on building a business focused on the Prosumer essentially building an e-tail business for Autodesk. The Senior Director Marketing position for our new Industry Marketing Group will drive the marketing strategy and all Go to Market for Autodesk\\\'s prosumer products basically working with stakeholders to build our ecommerce business. Reporting directly to the Vice President of PSEB Industry Marketing, the Senior Director of Marketing will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy and business objectives for the prosumer business. This role offers great opportunities for a results oriented, seasoned product e-tail executive who knows how to build an etail business and marketing strategy, define program objectives and plans and who is focused on excellent customer experiences. Role and Responsibilities • Design, develop and execute an annual marketing plan for Autodesk\\\'s prosumer business segment which is primarily addressed through an e-tail channel. This role will encompass go-to-market strategies for new product and service offerings through this new channel. Will continually evaluate, challenge and adjust strategic marketing plans to meet evolving business and market requirements. • Responsible for marketing strategies, staff and budget, marketing and merchandising programs, go to market programs, pricing, processes and promotions necessary to increase revenues and drive outstanding customer satisfaction. • In executing on the marketing plan, the Senior Director of Marketing will develop messaging and standards for marketing success and the timing of marketing investments for maximum impact. • Working with Product Line groups develop and manage messaging, positioning and pricing for products sold through etailers. • Work with product line groups to ensure suitability of products for etail channel. • Partner with sales organization to ensure consistent best practices are employed when working with etailers throughout the world. • Work with SP&O organization regarding processes and operational support of ecommerce strategy and ability to execute on strategy. • Develop merchandising plan for all prosumer products. • Will work closely with the different product line groups within Autodesk to identify prosumer products and strategies for bringing them to market through the appropriate channel. Candidate Qualifications and Professional Experience • 8+ years management experience in Marketing, Product Management or related roles in a global software or other high technology solutions company. • 5+ years of experience building ecommerce business. • 10+ years of experience developing marketing plans, programs and promotions for high technology, high volume products and services to both partners and customers, in a multi-channel sales model organization. • Bachelor\\\'s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; an advanced degree is a plus. • Extensive experience in the strategic development and execution of marketing programs is required, as is the need for highly developed analytical skills. His/her critical thinking abilities will be highly honed, and he/she will be a skillful negotiator. The ideal candidate should have previous experience building and sustaining a worldwide on-line brand identity. • Extensive experience leading marketing/product teams to build elegant, robust web based online retail solutions. • The ability to identify business priorities, seek appropriate funding, support and tune marketing programs and validate ROI. The successful candidate must be comfortable crafting and articulating a vision and developing and delivering presentations. • He/she will have strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and build consensus within and outside of the organization at the highest levels to garner support for the division\\\'s objectives. • Proven success in taking an organization though a period of integration, change and growth, while successfully managing multiple complex projects, juggling competing priorities, and meeting exacting deadlines. • Strong financial acumen and a proven track record of continual enhancements to the metrics within the candidate\\\'s previous organization is essential. The successful candidate must be able to balance providing exceptional service with the needs to improve financial performance, and increase revenue and profits. • Demonstrated effective communication skills and strong executive presentation skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills required in order to build the strong relationships, particularly with field organizations and partners, which will be critical to success.
